Introduction
Information & Communication Technology (ICT) is a fully integrated part of the curriculum in St. Mary's, with students using some of the latest technology in their studies. It is the aim of our school that Information Technology should become a natural part of every student's life.
Whilst all teachers in our school aim to use ICT as part of their teaching, they are not necessarily ICT teachers. They should not have to spend their time teaching ICT at the expense of their own subject and it is for this reason that students in Forms 1 to 3 as well as in Forms 4 to 7 receive dedicated ICT lessons. The aim is to empower the students with the knowledge to use modern technology seamlessly as part of the learning process in every subject.
Mission
We aim at
  • broadening our students' horizons in computer;
  • arousing students' interest in using computer;
  • facilitating the development of creative mind and problem solving skills through the use of computers;
  • tailoring a school-based curriculum for Forms 1 to 3;
  • integrating information & communication technology into other curriculum areas; and
  • guiding students to achieve their best academically.
