During Drama week, Monday 20th – Saturday 25th April 2009, our school will present five performances of a brand new musical play, The Other Side. Two communities live side by side divided by a great wall which has stood since time immemorial. Each community lives in fear of the other side, not realising that their counterparts resemble themselves, almost exactly, in thought, word and deed. Youngsters challenge the accepted norms and try to find out what is on the other side of the wall, with results that are both romantic and tragic, but are ultimately beneficial to all. |

The play has been written by drama teacher, Mr Geoff Oliver, who has returned to SMCC to direct the show. Music and choreography have been composed by our own students. Please join us to see what can be found onThe Other Side. |

本校謹訂於二零零九年四月二十日 (星期一 )至四月二十五日 (星期六 )公演大型英語音樂劇「牆」。
牆 ── 將兩個毗鄰的家族阻隔着。因為對方的存在，使他們各自活在惶恐和困惑之中。但最弔詭的是，他們的一言一行，以至思想模式，竟是如此的類似和相近，然而彼此卻懵然不知。終於，最叛逆、最愛冒險的新一代出現了。兩個家族的年輕一輩希望打破僵局，他們要挑戰所有成規，要推翻全部制度。而結局，可以是浪漫的，可以是悲愴的，也可以是淒美動人的。也許我們每一個人的內心深處，都隱藏了一道無形但陰暗的牆；唯有勇敢地把它推倒，才能讓我們瞥見人性中的一線曙光。
本音樂劇是由遠道從 英國回來的 Mr. Geoffrey Oliver編導，劇中的原創樂曲和舞蹈均由本校學生創作編排，效果讓人耳目一新。 |
