The Library is open from 8:15am – 5:30pm for normal school day.
Users are required to treat the library environment and materials with respect.
Silence and tidiness must be maintained inside the library.
Schoolbags should be kept tidily at the storage area outside the library. Valuable Belongingness (i.e. Purse & Mobile Phone) should not be left behind outside the library.
Eating, drinking and the use of mobile phones are not permitted in the library.
Books and magazines should be put back on the appropriate shelves according to the call numbers.
Students must first register at the counter before using the computer or media material.
Borrowing entitlement:
Form 1-3 students can borrow a maximum of THREE items of books or visual aids and THREE back issues of periodicals.
Form 4-7 students can borrow a maximum of FIVE items of books or visual aids and THREE back issues of periodicals.
ERS books and visual aids (SBA) can only be borrowed by Form 4-7 students.
Loan Period:
Loan period of books and periodicals is TWO weeks
Loan period of visual aids is THREE Days and Two Nights.
Renewals:
Books and periodicals can be renewed once only by the same borrower for a further period of FOURTEEN days.
Visual aids can be renewed once only by the same borrower for a further period of THREE Days and Two Nights.
Overdue Fine:
A charge will be made for library materials returned late at the rate of HK$0.5 per school day.
Reference Books and Textbooks:
All reference books and textbooks should only be read inside the library and cannot be borrowed. (Call number marked with "R")
Care of library materials:
Students should ensure that any library material borrowed is in good condition before leaving and returning to the library.
Lost or damaged material must be reported at once to the library and readers will be asked to replace a new one.
