To help students to develop their creativity, ability to appreciate music and to effectively communicate through music potentials by preparing different kind of music functions (e.g.mini concert, talent quest etc.).

To develop students’ music skills, construct knowledge in music, cultivate positive values and attitudes and encourage students to work towards a higher goal through their participation in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and the Hong Kong Band Festival.

To motivate students to do more creative activities in the music lessons so as to develop their thinking and questioning skills and encourage their self-learning skills.

To encourage students’ self-motivation to participate more in the music activities and music cultural exchange activities outside the school.

To organise music activities, music instrumental classes for students so as to help them to pursue a life-long interest in and valuing of music.
